2005 News 11.14.05 - Edwin Ho wins the 2005 American Road Race of Champions Enduro Determined to overcome the bad luck he experienced in last year's American Road Race of Champions, Edwin returned to Road Atlanta to compete against some of the country's best. During qualifying for the Sprint Race, Edwin struggled to find speed as he qualified ninth in class and and 23rd overall in the combined ITB and ITC group. After a great battle with a couple of Honda CRXs, he finished sixth in class and 14th overall. Qualifying for the 3-hour Enduro Race also proved to be difficult for Edwin. Struggling to get a clean lap, he was able to qualify fourth in class and 53rd overall in the 60 car field of ITS, ITA, ITB, ITC, ITT, IT7, Spec 7, & Spec Miata cars. After running a strong and consistent pace, coupled with two great pit stops, Edwin finished first in class by two laps and 35th overall.

09.19.05 - Edwin Ho charges from the back of the field at Waterford Hills Due to a previous engagement, Edwin had to miss qualifying on Saturday morning. As a result, he had to start the Saturday Class Race from the back of the field. He was able to make his way through most of the field to finish fourth. In the Sunday Class Race, Edwin finished second after starting fourth. The Sunday Feature Race proved to be the most exciting ITC race of the year. After qualifing on the pole, Devin Box pulled into the lead after the start. For ten laps, Edwin hounded Devin, often leaving only fractions of an inch between their bumpers. They even had simultaneous excursions onto the grassy parts of Swamp turn possibly due to debris/oil on the track. In the end, Devin was victorious. He was also able to achieve a personal best lap time of 1:19.896, less than two-tenths off the track record. Congrats Devin!
09.12.05 - EH Motorsports returns to the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course After a disappointing performance last month at Mid-Ohio, Edwin returned hoping to capture a win. This weekend, Kevin Ruck took the driver's seat of his father's Honda Civic. Experiencing difficulty with many Spec Miatas also in his run group, Edwin was only able to finish second to Kevin on Saturday. On Sunday, the Spec Miatas would again play a factor in the ITC race. After a tight battle between Kevin and Edwin, a Spec Miata collided with Kevin in turn one causing him to spin. Edwin also spun trying to avoid the two cars and then collided with Kevin. Once Kevin and Edwin were able to continue on, Edwin passed Kevin in the Keyhole and led until the checker.
08.08.05 - EH Motorsports visits the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Edwin's first run at Mid-O this year didn't go too well. After starting second in class, he spun on lap three trying to pass a car in the ITB class. After fighting his way back up the ladder, another off-track excursion dropped him back down. Edwin had to settle for sixth place. Edwin qualified third for the Sunday Race. He quickly caught the leader, Richard Ruck in a newer Honda Civic. After swapping the lead several times, Richard made a final pass for the race win. Both Richard and Edwin ran faster than their previous fastest lap times!
07.25.05 - Two more victories at Waterford Hills After winning the Saturday Class Race, rain on Sunday created difficult conditions for Edwin and the other drivers. Edwin was able to fend off the other ITC drivers for another race win in the Sunday Class Race. The Sunday Feature Race was canceled due to delays caused by the weather.
