08.11.08 - EH Motorsports struggles at IT/SPEC*tacular

SCCA's IT/SPEC*tacular drew Spec Miata drivers from as far away as Maine, Georgia, and California. In total, 44 Spec Miatas would compete for the Championship. The IT/SPEC*tacular is unique because it is comprised of three points races in a single weekend. At the end of the weekend, a Champion is crowned in each class.

Edwin's weekend started well by qualifying seventh overall. In race one, a poor start and fierce battles during the race resulted in a 12th place finish. Starting 13th in race two, Edwin worked his way up to seventh place until a spin, followed by a run into a tire barrier, dropped him back to finish 26th. In the third and final race, Edwin would start from 26th and work his way up to finish 14th.

06.01.08 - EH Motorsports captures first Spec Miata win!

At the SCCA OVR's Race of Champions, Edwin Ho pulled double duty by running both the National and Regional races. Edwin qualified second for the Regional race. He was able to pass the leader, Gary Schultz, on the last lap when his car sputtered, low on fuel, dropping him to finish second and giving Edwin the win.

For the National race, Edwin qualified eighth. After a hard fought battle with several other Miatas and mixing it up with a couple of SSB Minis, he was able to work his way up to finish fourth. This is Edwin's best National level finish to date.
